The Center for Innovative Sintered
Products (CISP) is seeking undergraduate researchers to participate
in its collaborative research program with industry. The Center seeks
to develop new products and processes through the innovative use of
sintered materials.
You will be part of an integrated research
team with interdisciplinary faculty and graduate students. Duties will
vary by project and may include library research, specimen preparation,
conduct of experiments, analysis and presentation of results, and other
duties as assigned. Background in basic physics, chemistry, basic materials
science and mechanics is desirable. Computer skills in word processing,
databases, and graphical presentation are a plus. Students at any level
of study are invited to apply. The schedule is flexible with a minimum
of 12-20 hours per week desired at a rate of $8.00 per hour.
