Time Compression Technologies in Forming Die Tooling

are leading the efforts for the rapid creation of production tooling. To avoid delays in obtaining trial tool sets, many companies resort to machining test parts from large blanks. Unfortunately, machined materials from sintered materials in surface finish, composition, density, and impact that would be made from sintering. The team is currently collecting and documenting the existing rapid tooling techniques in die compaction with regard to properties, performance, tolerance, cost, finishing time, features and life.
