Solid materials are classified into three groups – metals, ceramics, and polymers. Development and progress of materials depends on selection of suitable materials for specific applications. At the Center, the research emphasis is on sintered materials geared to structural, wear, thermal applications and polymeric systems that aid in processing the materials.
