File Opening and Saving

The table above displays all the excel files involved with DebindoŠ. Files named Consts1.xls, Consts2.xls, Consts3.xls, and Consts4.xls all contain the constant values that were last entered in the Constants dialog box in DebindoŠ. Information in these files are in a specific format to aid the software in reading them. Hence, its extremely important to maintain the provided format in these files. Other files also have specific formats to them and they also need to be maintained that way for the software to work properly. Furthermore, to help the user in utilizing DebindoŠ most effectively the following guidelines for file opening and saving are provided:

  1. Do not open the above files directly through Excel or any other software.
  2. Do not attempt to alter the contents of the above files.
  3. Do not save the files that are opened by DebindoŠ under the names provided above. 
  4. Save files opened by DebindoŠ under a filename different than the ones above.
  5. Store the saved files in a separate folder to be safe.
  6. Keep the file Debindo.exe in a folder rather than on the Desktop. If not, this file generates excel files and, thus, may clutter the users' desktop.
  7. If corruption of any file occurs or the software seems to be malfunctioning, delete all of the above excel files. A new set of these files will be generated when DebindoŠ. is used again.
